2.1.5. FEEDBACK

Web-based education is advantageous in terms of allowing students to learn information at
their own pace and to receive information at the specified time. However, the fact that

students do not receive sufficient feedback, think that they cannot express themselves
adequately, and quickly forget the topics they have listened to shows that this education

model has disadvantages. It is thought that students' understanding of the information without

practice may cause them to forget the subjects quickly. A meta-analysis reported that planning
for web-based learning should not only cover content, but also carefully consider how to

support different interactions that are important for the learning process (Bernard, 2009).
During the COVID 19 pandemic, web-based education became important since face-to-face

education was abruptly interrupted. The transition to online methods was very swift due to the

sudden pandemic. Hence it is very important to identify the shortcomings to develop and
improve this training method. Evaluating students' feedback and determining their

expectations from web-based education will enable faster adaptation to this process. For this
purpose, it is important to determine easy ways to reach students and to inform them through

these media channels.
When you have a question or a comment, you can use the appropriate channel to relay it to

your teacher or classmates. The channels and rules of communication will be set at the

beginning of the class, make a note of these channels and provide feedback when necessary
