3.1.6. Integrated Systems:

               These  systems  allow  the  use  of  different  communication  systems  in  online  education  by
               bringing  them  together  in  a  synchronized  way.  Integrated  systems  allows  individuals

               belonging to the same educational groups to send one-to-one or joint messages with the help
               of internet technologies. They are usually used with special software. The most well-known is

               the "Web-Based Joint Service" program.


               3.1.7. CD-DVD Rom:

               They  are  high-capacity  information  storage  media  allowing  for  standard  reproduction,
               distribution and storage of sound images, animations and other interactive applications.

               The communication tools and environments used in distance education are examined in three
               groups:

               Educational Methods: Fieldwork, demonstration, expert panels and meetings, games, group

               discussions, conferences, practices, programmed teaching, reading, animation and simulation.
               Presentation Methods: Audio recordings, electronic text, CBT, EPS, group work, interactive

               television,  multimedia,  online  support,  teleconference,  videoconferencing,  3D  modelling,

               visual reality and video.
               Distribution  Methods:  Cable  television,  CD-ROM,  computer  disks,  digital  video  systems

               (DVD), electronic mail, extranet, internet, LAN/WAN, satellites, touch systems/simulations,
               telephone, video tapes, audio tapes, voice mail, etc.
