4.2. WORD
Programs that are used for formatting and writing on a computer are called word processing

programs. In the computer, there are many word processing programs developed by different

companies for this reason. Word is one of these programs.
Word, a word processing program designed by the Microsoft Company to run under the

Windows operating system, is an indispensable program that is used in almost every field in
the world.

The Word program, which can be used in daily press publications, such as writing books and
theses, has very rich processes and functions, is an excellent word processing program. All

operations that can be done in a document can be done with Word. It is much easier to prepare

a long document using Word than using a typewriter.
