4.5. ZOOM
ZOOM is the platform most commonly used for online education. You can use ZOOM to
connect to your classes and learn with your friends. First you need to download ZOOM from
https://zoom.us/download. After the application has been installed, you can start joining
meetings.
There are many ways to join Zoom class sessions, including your school’s LMS, Zoom
desktop client, Zoom web portal, email, or your calendar. Regardless of how you join, we
want to make it easy, so follow the simple steps below.
LMS
Blackboard
Go to your class on Blackboard.
Select “Tools.”
Click “Zoom.”
From the list of all upcoming meetings, click “Join” to be placed into the desired meeting.
Canvas
On the left hand navigation menu, click “Courses.”
Click “Zoom meetings.”
Select “Upcoming meetings.”
Find the desired meeting and click “Join” to enter the meeting.
Clever
Log in to the Clever portal.
Click on your teacher page.
Click on the Zoom icon, and you will be placed into your virtual meeting.
