Listening to relaxing music
Try to find and use the technique that suits you the best. They may not all work for everyone.
Do not forget that these techniques require practice so you need to be consistent to get
benefits.
11) HOW TO DO PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES DURING BREAKS
11.1. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
COVID-19 was an unexpected event, a force majeure, a pandemic that has affected the lives
of many in the world and students had various negative experiences due to being restricted
and isolated at home. Since young people do not have the same developed coping
mechanisms, they experienced higher stress. Restrictions and lockdowns decreased their
chances for physical activities as well. They stayed home for days, used computers or phones
most of the day for education and fun and their dietary habits also changed. The impact of this
period is still observed in their attitudes and behaviors. Although the world of education was
caught unprepared at that time, we are now better prepared to deal with these problems in case
online education is used as a part of regular education.
The daily physical activity period recommended by health authorities for children/young
people is at least 60 minutes or 12000 steps (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,
