               10) METHODS TO RELIEVE STRESS AND RELAXATION TECHNIQUES


               10.1. STRESS

               Stress,  which  is  one  of  the  important  problems  of  modern  life  today,  is  related  to
               incompatibility between the desires of individuals and environmental conditions. Stress is an

               environmental  stimulus  and  experienced  as  a  result  of  a  person's  interaction  with  the

               environment and is related to how the person controls their situation or environment. Contrary
               to popular belief, it has not positive effects in addition to negative effects.

               Stress  sources  are  examined  in  three  parts:  individual  (self-sourced),  environmental
               (originating  from the environment, the environment in which  one  lives) and organizational

               (resulting from the environment in which one works/studies).
               Stress is a concept that affects individuals and their behavior and relationships with others.

               Stress is not something that happens out of the blue or on its own. In order for stress to occur,

               the environment in which a person lives and the changes that occur in that environment must
               affect the  person.  Every  individual  is  affected  by  the  changes  in  their  environment,  but  to

               varying degrees.


               COVID-19  and  the  ensuing  transition  to  online  education  created  high  stress  on  many
               students. Although the epidemic is over now and schools have turned back to their face to

               face  routines,  online  education  will  be  used  more  in  the  future  in  different  capacities.

               Technology is advancing and the benefits of online education are various, some schools are
               already  using  blended  education  in  which  some  lessons  are  taught  online.  Therefore,  it  is

               important  to  know  why  online  education  creates  stress  in  individuals  to  prepare  them  for
