5. Problem solving: To identify needs and problems, and to resolve conceptual problems
and problem situations in digital environments. To use digital tools to innovate
processes and products. To keep up-to-date with the digital evolution.
Out of these five key components, the framework developed 21 specific competences which
are listed in the graphic below. The framework also describes eight proficiency levels,
examples of knowledge, skills and attitudes, and use cases in education and employment
contexts.
