Online education has made it possible for students to access a multitude of materials in
one click. In their courses, students are asked to use different resources for the subject they

are learning and they also use different learning management systems and different web 2.0

tools. One of the greatest struggles for many students is staying organized and on task when
they are faced with this plethora of choice. This digital clutter is confusing for some students

and they lose interest or lose track of what they are doing easily. In this case, students should
be aware of the distinction between using and integrating technology during online education.

Technology integration consists of using technology in a planned and purposeful manner to

support curricular goals and learning objectives. Technology, essential to the learning activity,
is used to engage students with the content and encourage higher order thinking skills.

There are hundreds of educational resources that can be used online for any subject or lesson.
Hence, your teachers will be using different apps or programs as well as online resources for

each of your classes. Managing these may be hard for you. Note taking skills will be
