According to John Seely Brown, tools drive science. In his interview in Wired Magazine,
Brown states that "tools", not theory or experiment, can completely change the speed and
nature of innovation (Wired, 2000).
With COVID-19, the whole world has realized that not only the tools but also the conditions
direct science. Due to the risk of continuing face-to-face education, universities and schools in
the world used online education as the manner to reach their students, and governments made
this type of learning compulsory and encouraged the active use of it during the pandemic.
1.1. WHAT IS ONLINE EDUCATION?
Online education is a modern and effective form of learning that can be offered independently
of place and time, and includes features such as configuring and updating educational
materials in the electronic environment appropriately and flexibly, adding different
technologies to the learning process, and using them 24/7.

1.2. BENEFITS OF ONLINE EDUCATION
- Online education reduces the expenses related to education,
- It provides access to students who do not have face-to-face learning opportunities,
- It is much more sustainable due to the opportunities it provides,
- It increases the quality of education and allows rapid transfer of technological
developments because it is a more centralized system,
- It allows students from different places around the world to benefit from educational
opportunities,
- It meets the different educational needs of the individuals that are not met by the
