education, your assignments may take longer. Each time you come back to an assignment
(from Instagram for example), you have to get familiar with it, find your spot, remember what
you were going to do next, etc. You may make more mistakes as well because these
distractions and switching between tasks will tire out your brain. Also, you will remember
less because you are not able to commit what you are learning to long-term memory due to
distractions. What you can do is focusing on one thing at a time and take breaks between tasks
(you can study 25-50 minutes and take a break 10 minutes).
Note-taking and engagement: Make sure you take notes and are mentally engaged in the
course. Taking notes will increase retention and help you stay engaged in the topic.
Do not procrastinate: During online education you may less harried but sticking to a
schedule and meeting deadlines are still important. Hence, follow your schedule and finish
your work the same way you were doing before.
Ask for support: If you have questions about the tasks or the content, do not hesitate to ask
your teacher or your peers. Keeping communication channels open will help you keep
updated and relieve your stress anxiety about any issues related to school work.
