Once you become a member, you can access a range of resources and services that CEVP offers. Here are some ways you can use CEVP:

  1. Networking: CEVP provides a platform for VET practitioners to connect and collaborate with each other. You can join online discussion forums, participate in webinars and workshops, and attend events to meet other members and exchange ideas and experiences.
  2. Learning: CEVP offers a range of training and learning opportunities to its members. You can attend webinars and online seminars on various topics related to VET, access research and publications, and participate in study visits and exchange programmes.
  3. Sharing good practices: CEVP encourages its members to share good practices and innovative approaches in VET. You can showcase your own work, learn from others, and contribute to the development of VET in Europe.
  4. Advocacy: CEVP aims to strengthen the voice and impact of VET practitioners in Europe. You can contribute to advocacy efforts by sharing your views and experiences, and participating in initiatives and campaigns.

CEVP promotes and shares good practices among vocational education and training (VET) practitioners in Europe. One good practice of CEVP itself is its "Peer Learning Activity" (PLA) approach, which involves a group of VET professionals visiting another country to learn about the VET system and practices there.

The PLA approach is designed to facilitate peer learning and mutual exchange among VET practitioners from different countries. During the visit, the group engages in a range of activities, such as visits to VET schools and companies, meetings with stakeholders, and discussions with experts in the field. The focus is on learning from the experience and expertise of the host country, and exploring how this can be adapted and applied to the home country context.

The PLA approach has several benefits for VET practitioners, including:

  • Exposure to new practices and approaches: VET practitioners can learn about innovative practices and approaches in VET from other countries, and adapt them to their own context.
  • Networking and collaboration: The PLA approach provides opportunities for VET practitioners to connect with peers from other countries, share experiences, and collaborate on joint projects.
  • Professional development: The PLA approach can enhance the professional development of VET practitioners by exposing them to new ideas and practices, and providing opportunities for reflection and learning.

Positive:

  • Vet-specific community
  • Enables peer learning

Negative:

  • Needs VET practitioners to register and join
  • Restricts exchange to VET sector
